A: Yes, we come to your home. We do not offer a traditional spa location that you travel to. This is our value proposition, as we feel that for frequent spa users, visiting a busy spa is counter-intuitive (destination spas excluded, of course...we love them!). Why go through the stress of driving in traffic, finding parking, waiting and being rushed through your service when we can come right to you in your own environment?

We do everything, and bring everything. You just need to be home at the appointed time, and ideally provide a seat close to a power outlet, and if possible parking. If you are getting any waxing services done, we generally do those on your own bed or sofa. Don't worry, we bring linens and hospital paper to make sure nothing gets messy.

A: Yes, and no. Being a small mobile business, safety of our estheticians is a big concern. If a couple is preparing for a trip to the tropics, we are generally able to help the male part of the equation with his back/chest waxing needs but in general do not accept bookings from men unless via reference from another client. This is a case by case kind of thing, and we hope you understand.

A: Yes. In fact, insurance is less common than you might imagine in this type of business, so keep that in mind when evaluating any mobile service. Even though we are insured for any eventuality, we still take sterilization of tools and proper sanitation very seriously. These measures represent a large cost to Mobicure, but we'd not have it any other way.

A: Our home base is in the near west, so we typically will take customers from Kanata, Nepean, Ottawa, Orleans and Gatineau with no extra travel charge. We often go out farther, but sometimes have to charge a fair charge for travel. Just contact us to find out if there is any charge to your area. In two years, we have charged for travel less than 10 times, so chances are good that you are covered.

A: Our group bookings include one esthetician. You pay the flat rate, and can have any services you like from our menu, on as many people as you want as long as it fits into the time allotted. When we have a group booking, we typically budget extra time in case you want to add time to your booking.

A: We'd be lying if we said it didn't, but we can say that our waxing specialist has been waxing every body part imaginable on hundreds of people for the past 12 years, and is an expert in reducing the discomfort of waxing. We use only the best quality hard waxes for brazilian, bikini, underarm and facial waxing which tends to reduce the discomfort you often get with lower quality products.

A: Escential Waxes, OPI polish & Scrubs and Gehwol soaks and creams are our staples.
